Aswath Damodaran

 

Aswath Damodaran holds the Kirschner Family Chair in Financial Education and is a professor of finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business. Taught finance at the University of California, Berkeley. Professor Damodaran holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Madras and a postgraduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management. He received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA in 1981 and a Doctorate in Finance (PhD) in 1985.

Professor Damodaran has won many awards for his contributions in the field of finance. He has been the recipient of the Giblin, Glucksman, and Hyman Fellowships, the David Margolis Scholarship for Teaching Excellence, and the Richard L. Rosenthal Award for Innovation in Investment Management and Corporate Finance.
